Breeder of Abyssinian, Bengal and Savannah Cats

Hello and welcome to our website. We are Kavik Cattery a small cattery located in the rolling countryside of Chester County, Pennsylvania. We love cats and cats are our passion. Our cattery is CFA, TICA, AACE and TCA Inc. registered. We are members of TIBCS (The International Bengal Cat Society). Just a little about ourselves. I was raised around cats my entire life. Most of them were rescues or strays but I loved them just the same. My wife never had a cat so I converted her twenty years ago to become the cat lover she is today. We have raised Siamese and Oriental Shorthair cats and kittens for over fifteen years. We don’t have children so our cats are our babies. We started with our first Siamese cat a seal point named Kylee fifteen years ago. Then we realized Kylee should have a friend and we added Katie, a blue cream tortie Oriental Shorthair to our family. Kylee and Katie became like sisters. They loved one another. We bred both of them and they produced beautiful kittens. Then nine years ago we added Jasmine, another seal point Siamese to our family. All three cats got along wonderfully for many years. Sadly to say, Kylee has crossed The Rainbow Bridge three years ago. We miss her so much. Katie is now fifteen years old and Jasmine is now nine years old and both are still going strong. We never had the opportunity to show our three cats due to commitments that limited the time that would be required to devote to showing. We believe if you do something you have to give it all you have. So we didn’t want to show not being able to fully devote our time.

Once our lives settled down a bit we started to attend local cat shows as spectators in Pennsylvania and Maryland. We met and spoke to so many wonderful and friendly breeders at the shows who were so helpful and answered any questions we had. If you ever want to meet new, really nice, friendly and helpful people, go to a cat show. Cat breeders just love to talk about their cats. So, we were bitten by the show bug! With our two girls getting up in years (too old to show and breed, but we love them just the same) we decided to commit to investing in the highest quality show / breeder kittens to become our foundation cats for showing and breeding. We did our extensive, but fun research on cat breeds, showing, and breeding so that we were ready to make the plunge and really take showing and breeding the best cats we could obtain seriously and establish our cattery. We also wanted this to be a fun adventure for the two of us. We acquired our current cats from the best of the best breeders and pedigrees in the country. To date we have Madeline a gorgeous Bengal (SBT), Mona Lisa a beautiful Savannah (SBT), Daytona a beautiful Savannah (SBT), and Ruby a stunning Abyssinian. We have also added Jaguar (Jag) an SBT male Savannah who is Mona Lisa’s and Daytona’s boyfriend. These pairings are going to produce some awesome and exotic kittens. So with these girls and boy  our plan is to show our girls and boy and breed them to produce some wonderful kittens. So look for us in the show ring and please come back to our website for available kittens in the near future.
Please enjoy our website and thank you for visiting. If you have any questions or require additional information please contact us.

Blessings and Peace Always,
Kavik Cattery

Mission Statement

God has blessed our planet with many wonderful and beautiful animals. Whether they are domestic or wild we believe that they all have their purpose here. Since we all coexist together we have been given the responsibility to care for them. The cat is one of the many animals that have been here since the beginning of time. People throughout the ages have embraced, bonded with and taken these animals into their homes and made them part of their families. The cat displays their admiration through their affection; by a simple meow, the wonderful song of their purring, a gentle nudge with their head, weaving between our legs, cuddling up on our laps and of course kisses.

Our Mission Statement is “To appreciate the blessings we have been given and to love and care for our cat family. To continue to be responsible breeders and only breed to better the breed. To show others the beauty of our cats in the show ring not necessarily to always win but to let others experience their elegance and charm.”
